Second line: A crane calls in the shade, and its young answer. I have a fine goblet; I will share it with you.
Third line: Meeting an opponent, one may drum or stop, weep or sing.
Fourth line: The moon nearly full, the horse’s mate lost — no blame.
Fifth line: Sincerity bound together — no blame.
Top line: The sound of a bird ascends to heaven. Perseverance brings misfortune.
