Qian 93: Confucius Asks About Rites

Story
Confucius traveled to Zhou and asked Laozi about rites. Laozi advised him, "Put away your arrogance and many desires." Confucius withdrew and sighed, "I have seen Laozi today; he is like a dragon!" This sign signifies that humbly seeking advice brings great benefit.
Oracle Poem
In Eastern Zhou he asked Lao Dan about rites, / Dragon-like and hard to fathom, his words like Zen's heights. / From now on, if you grasp the meaning of non-action, / Why fear the hard roads of human action?
Interpretation
Career: Seek advice from experienced seniors; key guidance can be obtained. Relationships: An elder's introduction may lead to a destined match. Wealth: Steady financial management; it's wise to listen to financial advisors.
