Sign 88: Dong Zhuo Enters the Capital

Story
At the end of the Eastern Han, Dong Zhuo led his Liangzhou army into the capital, deposed the young emperor, installed Emperor Xian, and seized absolute power. Later, he was killed by Lü Bu, and his corpse was exposed on the street. This sign warns that lust for power leads to self-destruction.
Oracle Poem
Liangzhou iron horsemen entered Chang'an; Deposing and installing at whim, the empire's plan. Though you hold immense power and might, In the end, your body and head part in the night.
Interpretation
Career: Do not bully the weak and act arrogantly; tyranny will backfire. Love: Domineering control leads to breakup. Wealth: Ill-gotten gains come fast and go fast.
