签62:韩信拜将

Supreme Fortune

Story

When Han Xin first joined Liu Bang, he was not valued and left under the moonlight. Xiao He chased him back that very night and strongly recommended him as the Grand General. Han Xin ascended the altar to receive his commission, then openly repaired the plank road while secretly crossing at Chencang, helping Liu Bang conquer the Three Qins and ultimately establish the empire. This fortune signifies a Bole recognizing a fine horse, a meeting of the times.

Oracle Poem

A man beneath another's crotch, his ambition yet unfulfilled; Xiao He under the moon chased after the worthy minister. Ascending the altar with one bow, wind and clouds stirred; A hundred battles achieved, fixing the Han and Qin.

Interpretation

This fortune is extremely auspicious, indicating meeting a patron. In career, one's talents will finally be recognized and one may be given important positions; in relationships, a good match needs a matchmaker; in finances, sudden wealth may come, but one must be grateful and repay. The phrase "wind and clouds stirred" in the poem foretells that the time has come.
