Inferior Fortune
Story
Cao Cao led a massive army south. The Sun-Liu alliance opposed him at Red Cliffs. Zhou Yu used fire attacks; Huang Gai feigned surrender; an east wind arose, burning Cao's ships. This battle established the Three Kingdoms, but both sides suffered heavy casualties. This sign foretells that victory and defeat both bring pain.
Oracle Poem
Burning river reflects Red Cliffs' flame, East wind would not aid Zhou Yu's game. Broken halberds buried in sand, still not worn, A thousand years of blood and tears on the tides are borne.
Interpretation
This sign indicates fierce competition, both sides losing. In career, avoid conflict; seek reconciliation. In love, arguments hurt harmony; step back. Finances suffer losses; avoid risky investments. The poem's "broken halberds buried in sand" warns of heavy costs.
