Sign 51: Zhuge Liang Enters Shu

Average Fortune

Story

During the Three Kingdoms period, Liu Bei, with Zhuge Liang's aid, sought to take Shu as his base. Pang Tong proposed a strategy to take Shu, but Liu Bei hesitated. Zhuge Liang advised: "He who hesitates is lost." Thus they divided forces to enter Shu. Later, Pang Tong died at the Fallen Phoenix Slope, and Zhuge Liang rushed to aid under the stars, ultimately securing Yizhou. This sign foretells that major matters require careful planning before action, and hesitation must be avoided.

Oracle Poem

Dragon and tiger clash at the river's head, A single leaf boat drifts, where to be led. Do not say the road ahead is fraught with fear, Clouds part, the moon appears, a jade tower clear.

Interpretation

This sign signifies that human effort is key; despite twists and turns, success will ultimately be achieved. In career, one should actively advance but plan carefully, avoiding impulsive decisions. In love, if obstacles arise, patient communication can resolve them. In finances, there are ups and downs; avoid speculation and proceed steadily for gains. The poem's "clouds part, the moon appears" implies that after enduring hardship, clarity and brightness come.
